Midigo Most Needed / General Fund

There are many things that money given to our general fund provides. Your support allows us to provide for the greatest needs within our ministry and the community. Whether it is providing medical care, giving a Bible, funding an outreach, paying a teacher's salary, or any of the many other things CC Midigo Ministries is involved in; your donation will have a kingdom building impact.

Donate to the Purchase of a Maternity Ambulance - $12,000

Many babies do not survive in Midigo because the mother lives far from the medical center and has no way to get medical care in time. An ambulance would not only provide transportation for the expectant mother to the Midigo Hospital, but it would also have emergency medical supplies for the mother if needed.

Donate to Construction of a Health Education Feeding Center in Midigo
- $10,000

Many children are suffering from malnutrition and HIV in Midigo. A Nutritional Rehabilitation Center would provide health education for the community and treatment of malnutrition and HIV in children. When HIV patients don't receive proper nutrition, the medicine they take to combat the disease makes them sick which renders the medicine ineffective.

Donate to a Solar Blood Storage Refrigerator  - $3,000

A power shortage in Midigo is life threatening for the maternity patients and children. When there is no electrical power, the refrigerator does not work and the blood is no longer usable. Patients who cannot get the blood they need are dying. A solar powered refrigerator would always be working properly and protect life saving blood for use whenever needed.

Many pregnant women and those ill with AIDS are unable to travel to the medical clinic. Funding for this clinic would allow the Midigo medical staff to supply food and medicine and health education. Most importantly, it will provide an opportunity to share the gospel with these families.

Support the Midigo School and Dormitory
- $10,000

Our vision for the Midigo Nursery and Primary School is to allow the school to grow, as the Lord leads. Our desire is to see as many children and families in our community, changed by the love of Christ.  The cost of feeding the school children is one of the major expenses. If land could be purchased to grow food, it would greatly reduce the food costs.

Other needs include:
  • A library including shelves, desks, and chairs - $6,000
  • Books for the library - $2,000

Support the Midigo Hospital

The hospital in Midigo is nearly completely funded by CC Midigo Ministries. Our responsibility include: paying for the staff, funding medicines monthly, covering operational costs, and providing for the needs of the surgical center. All of the services provided at the Midigo Hospital are provided free of charge in the name of Jesus. 100% of your donation to the hosiptal will go to providing these services.

Additional needs:
  • Medical supplies - $600 per month
  • The children's ward requires beds, mattresses, linens, and malaria nets. Costs are $10 for each treated malaria net and up to $1,500 to supply all of the needed bedding.
  • Funding to perform emergency procedures in the surgical theater; including C-Sections. The cost to provide an emergency C-Section is currently $150 per procedure.

Support a Midigo Evangelical Outreach or Church Plant

CC Midigo Ministries is passionate about the gospel message of Jesus Christ. Through outreach and evangelism, we have been able to start four church plants: CC Yumbe which is in a 95% Muslim community and CC Arua which is located 4 hours from Midigo, CC Soroti, and CC Kubala. These churches are thriving but are in low-income areas and rely upon the funding of CC Midigo. We are also doing outreaches at the local high schools, soccer outreaches, and VBS'. In addition, donating to this fund will allow us to give away Bibles and Faith Comes by Hearing audio proclaimers to new believers.

Give Midigo Bibles - $10

Isaiah 40:8 "The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of God will stand forever." What a beautiful promise, but the problem here in Midigo is there is a great shortage of Bibles for new believes. Your donation will allow us to continue to spread the word of God by having Bibles on hand at our Calvary Chapels. For each $10 donation, we can cover the cost of purchasing these Bibles in the capital city of Kampala, picking them up and delivering them.

Save a Life With a Malaria Net - $10

Malaria is the number one killer of children worldwide.  In Africa alone, a child dies every thirty seconds from Malaria.  A simple Malaria net can literally save the life of a child and their siblings as each net can protect several children.  The nets we purchase are treated with an insecticide that prevents a mosquito from even landing on the nets. Your donation for a malaria net can literally save the life of a child.
